Two posts in one day, I MUST be sick.....none the less, I wanted to share a cover that i made for a handmade album that is going to be all about my Roo. I want the album to be a lot like the cover, lots of fabric and yarn bits plus VERY simple. I'm really into simple lately.....simple and fast, but still inspiring to me.

Way back in February before I went to the Craft & Hobby Convention, I made this little travel journal to take with me and fill as I went.........um THAT never happened, but I can share the blank journal...
The journal is made from old Anthropology and Toast catalogs. I don't like to let those go to waste, they are my favorite. There are like 20 pages in this little guy so, here are just a few...
I am so frustrated right now with the state of my blogging and I know you probably are too. there is nothing I hate more than visiting a blog that I love to find that they haven't updated at all in like a week... BLAH!!!!
So I am starting to catch up enough from the awful month of February to share some fun stuff. I know that I totally forgot to share the second part of my red velvet kit projects, so there are those and then if you remember WAAAAY back I said that I was gonna do a weekly thing where I pick 5 layouts and then scrap a page inspired by those very layouts, remember I was calling it Original:Imitation..........well...I AM going to do this as many weeks as I can, I can't promise every week but, I'm gonna try cuz it really does help me scrap more, and think outside MY box a little easier.
So here are my three projects to share for now...
To be part of Scrap In Style Tv. Today The Fashionistas(the design team at SISTV) are celebrating our 6 months together. We all decided to make a tag for Jeanette, the owner and wonderful lady that chose us all and brought us together. So, here is my tag, I just wrote her a little personal something on the back. We are gonna have a thread posted on the site where everyone can see all out tags, I'll post the link to that a little bit later.
I am working my tale off lately, unfortunately NOT literally, but I can't complain too much. I have a little sneekie peek at something I am making for my new friend Sara, well actually it's for Hunter too. It should be coming to you guys shortly.
And I got a box of lovelies in the mail from one of my most favorite people Becky, she gave me some really cool funky green and yellow flower fabric pictured below with my art cards.
SO, tell me.......does anybody know a cool way to display art cards OTHER THAN the 7 Gypsies thingy, cuz that darn thing is sold out EVERYWHERE?!?!
In other news, as you can see I changed my banner, I wsa inspired by this gig poster, man I love it.
A new album with so much stuff in it, I seriously LOVE. There is a ton of rubber/acrylic stamping, felt, paper and fabric piecing, transparencies, rub-ons, rub-ons and more rub-ons, tags, coorugated cardboard, so so many goodies. The title of the album is "Seriously?", it's full of self affrimations, my observations on life, funny things about me, things I have learned, things I feel I need to work on, just a book about what's going on with ME RIGHT NOW. Oh ya, did I mention it's a BIG one, so many fun layers and pages in this one, I just kept adding......LOL.Thanks for looking! (click on the photos and they get much larger)

First off ACROSS THE UNIVERSE is one of the best movies I have EVER seen. This movie made me teary eyed for so many reasons.
I cried because well, the music is just bone chillingly beautiful, of course it is right?!?!? It's the Beatles. period. I cried because the topics in this movie are STILL pertinent today, and THAT is sooo heart wrenchingly sad. I cried the most because this movie is sooo DAMN CREATIVE and full of sparks and shimmers. There were places I seriously couldn't breath, it was so SPOT ON.
