I am so excited to be back to that place where photography REALLY inspires me, it comes in stages I guess. This is actually a really old photo, but I just played around with some actions and textures. It is so amazing how just tweaking the look of the color in a photo gives it a WHOLE other feel. Different ways of post processing seem to be really catching my eye lately. It's really great to see so many photographers have really embraced the art of post processing, cuz I really do believe that it is an art in itself.
Who are some of your favorite photographers that do really cool post process stuff? I am really in the zone with this and I am just so eager to learn more...
Nothing really exciting to report right now, just hanging with the pups. I will tell you one thing, I will be STICK THIN by the end of summer if I keep up with Roo's exercise regiment, that little girl can RUN!!! A whole mess load of photos of the Roo-berry muffin to come.....
Just a quicky for right now, I just wanted to introduce you to Roo, she is an Australian Cattle Dog. I just got her last night, this is a on the spot shot really quick, but it totally shows her sweet yet sassy demeanor.

It seems like I have had no time to do anything else, accept get everything JUST SO. I am one of those people that has to have the aesthetics in order before I can sit and relax. I can't help it, I go crazy when I move somewhere new, just trying to figure out where everything has it's place. Living in what is essentially a giant antique has it's quirks too. I have been struggling with that a little, but in the long run, I know I will be so much happier here than I ever have anywhere else.
I am getting out of that initial stage where you feel like you are just visiting, when it doesn't seem like YOUR home, you know what I mean!?!?
I am finally getting used to the idea that I don't have to walk up three flights of stairs ever again, YAY!!!
Not much else going on right now. I am getting ready to leave next week to teach at the big SISiversary event. I am excited to see all my girls, but NOT excited about flying. I HATE that part. I think this might be my last flying trip for a long time, at least alone that is. I just get WAY too stressed.

So I am all moved in, just doing the unpacking and decorating right now........HATE the unpacking, LOVE the decorating!!!
So glad that the stacks are dwindling down to a minimum and the the pictures are getting hung, which leads me to a funny thing I have had to resort to to get all my art and photography hung JUST where I want it. You see, all the main walls of my new house(which is the cutest 1930's farmhouse) are stone, so I can not hang my pictures with nails, so what am I using!?!?.....Industrial strength VELCRO.....is that not the best, I love it!!
Anyway, just wanted to pop on here and say a quick hello and post a little, I will be back full blast soon.....I have so much excitement to share with all of my blog friends!!

I haven't dropped off the face of the earth, I am trying to find a new place to live and packing and relocating to a new area is kinda stressful, no matter how much you want to be there, you know. You never, or at least I never remembered how much stuff there is to do when you move. It's CRAZY!!! I will be back to posting in a bit, just gotta figure out the homeless thing first, lol....
Also, I have a ton of emails to answer and I will as soon as this crazy time is over, I haven't forgotten about you......
This weekend we will be doing just that, looking for a house to rent in a new city, new scenery, new light, new streets, new smells, new sounds, new life......a fresh start and I can not be any happier. Wish me luck, I fear I may need it.
Oh and if you are wishing any luck, please do so for my little pup, she is sick and needs to see the vet, hopefully everything will turn out okay, but she is getting old and I am getting scared, but WE WILL HOPE FOR THE BEST!!!

...and we all know it's much more productive to post about said crap than it it to actually clean it up.....right!?!?
Yes, I have resorted to Lean Cuisine for the days that I just can't bring myself to cook anything, or even really slap two pieces of bread together with some mustard, veggies and cheese. when pressing the start button is all I can hope for....Lean Cuisine is fine, it's actually pretty good when take it out of the "prison-food-to-go" container. It actually seems digestible...
I really think I am going to have to do some serious hunting for a typewriter, cuz when I see photos like THIS, I just want one even more. Plus who doesn't want to use a typewriter on their scraps, I mean Come on.......right?!?!
I have some wonderful news about my WW progress........drum roll please..................I have lost 7 pounds!!! Woo HOO!!!! I seriously didn't think the weight would be coming off this fast, but that tells me that I SUCK at eating healthy in the first place, lol. All and all it really hasn't been bad, I am a little hungry from time to time but nothing TOO serious.
The hunt for a house has started...we think we may have found something, but we'll see. It is so hard to like something and get your hopes up and then NOT, you know??! But I am confident that we will find our perfect place. I am most excited about a new place to create. I am feeling like I need a new atmosphere, new surroundings to spice it up a bit. A new view could do wonders for me right now.
If you haven't seen the new Trendsetter Collection, it's super cute! I am not normally one to use a lot of purple, so this will be a nice stretch for me! I have already seen some really fun stuff done with it, now it's time for me to play.
