Can you see the wee little fox!?!??! She has a momma and some babies, this is the second year in a row. See those beautiful irises that will soon bloom, they LOVE to eat those and trample them... I just wanna hold them and kiss their little paws, they are ADORABLE!!!

oh my gosh, I just posted about our little fox family! :) Love them!

Aw it is so sweet. It's like a little story book, "Sarah finds a Fox." My neightborhood is just littered with stary cats.

OmGoodness.. I love them too! Does your mom feed them at all? I think you should just leave them to their own devices, but I'd personally have a hard time not tossing them a nugget every now and then ;). 'course, I'm the one who brought home a LITTER of abandoned baby skunks one time. We presume their mother had been hit by a car (there was a dead skunk in the area). These babies were running around a parking lot in the daytime (totally odd behavior... probably came out looking for food after waiting too long for their momma). I tried to find a rescue for them, and before I knew it I'd been connected with the game warden who told me it was illegal for me to have them and that since we'd handled them, they would have to be euthanised for the testing of rabies. I was SO upset and wanted to release them in the worst way, but feared punishment (the warden wasn't all that nice about it). I got a call 2 weeks later... they were all healthy. Lesson learned... next time I find a litter of baby skunks... move them to a safer location and shut my mouth. I was trying to help them and in the end I cost them their lives. To most people, a skunk is a nussaince (and believe me, they can be... our dog happens to like to tango with them every now and then), but we have them at our camp and they are the sweetest creatures. They come out at night and rummage around our feet at the campfire looking for droppings that the kids might have left behind. In all the years, I've never had one spray. I even fed them by hand once. We feed the chipmunks by hand too. Love all these little critters!

OMG! It's just TOO CUTE!

think about it

  • There is nothing worse than a brilliant image of a fuzzy concept. -Ansel Adams-
  • The whole purpose for places like Starbuck's is for people with no decision making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy a cup of coffee. Short...tall... light...dark...half...decaf...low fat... nonfat, etc. So, people that don't know what the hell they're doing or who on earth they are, can, for only 2.95, get not just a cup of coffee but an absolutely defining sense of self... TALL DECAF CAPPUCCINO... -You've Got Mail-
  • The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it. -Dee Hock-
  • It is not in life, but in art that self-fulfillment is to be found. -George E. Woodberry-
